Amongst the Tainted

Blessed be the devout who remain chaste among the tainted. A pious young debutante of the Kingdom of Brandt, Elke Eberhardt prays each day as she vies for the sacred title of Pontifex, which grants authority over the nation’s faith. Unfortunately for Elke, fate has other, crueler plans—as she catches the eye of Sir Reiner Mikhel, a notorious womanizer who has seduced countless noblewomen in Brandt. Despite her firm resolve to remain virtuous, Elke finds herself increasingly drawn to the temptations of this dark, ambitious nobleman, whose seductive gaze conceals his true intentions.
